High-precision manufacturing and assembly

YACHTLITE - The Original A flawless installation is essential; and we ensure that all letters and logos are perfectly assembled on your yacht.

Precise assembly instructions, mounting template and connection diagram are included in the scope of delivery.
Personal support of the installation on site is possible.
All necessary installation materials such as bolts, spacers, seals and the corresponding converter boxes (12/24/110/230 V) are supplied.
On request, Yachtlite letterings can also be fixed with adhesive.

All necessary accessories and assembly materials are carefully selected and supplied according to YACHTLITE’s strict quality standards.

Water and weather resistant

Due to special incorporation into the acrylic glass, the LED light sources are durably and optimally protected.

The penetration of air, moisture or condensation of any liquids onto the illuminants is not possible, thus eliminating any possibility of corrosion.

Dimensions and minimum size

(1) The basis for lettering orders is the height of the capital letters.

(2) The total height of the lettering may differ from this height if, as shown in this figure, letters such as “d” are included with letters such as “y”.

(3) Our design generator can calculate the exact height and width of your label.

The only limitation:

(4) With slender fonts, the width at the narrowest point must be at least 14 mm. However, if such a font is desired, our designers can adjust and reinforce the lettering accordingly. If deemed necessary, an alternative solution with a different technology will be suggested.

Mounting template

A completely accurate template with precise positions of the holes for mounting bolts and power supply is included with each lettering. The template shows the complete lettering even for single letters.

All letters are connected to each other. This determines the correct distances and angles between the letters. With the help of the template the lettering can be precisely aligned.

The templates are made of seawater-proof and absolutely rigid polystyrene.

Hull curvature

Curved hulls are scanned with 3D lasers and the characters are manufactured accordingly to ensure perfect fixation.

Screw connection through the vessel’s side

Letters with a stainless steel surface are supplied as standard with a welded sockets and 100 mm threaded bolts.

If required, extension sleeves can be ordered separately.

Suitable sealing rings are supplied for sealing.

Letters with a coloured film or with lacquered surfaces are delivered with rear threaded holes and are screwed on directly through the vessel’s side.
